Growing up in a pristine setting at the foot of the magnificent Mt. Shasta, I have been immersed in health and wellness for as long as I can remember. My love of beauty and nature was supported by my parents’ lifestyle. They enjoyed organic food, herbal medicine, yoga and meditation. This was my early introduction to the power of natural health and it has guided me into adulthood.

I became a certified western herbalist in 2013 and went on to get my masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University. Since then I have continued studying and practicing in what has become my passion and my life’s work.

While completing grad school I gave birth to my first baby girl. My body felt drained and uncomfortable. I knew I needed serious rejuvenation. I longed to feel radiant and confident in my own skin again! This led me to cosmetic acupuncture and facial guasha – which has additional healing powers of its own.

During my first training with Dr. Martha Lucus, founder of Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture, I fell in love with the striking results achieved both in the face and inside the body. This treatment helped patients look and feel renewed – with softer wrinkles, less puffy skin, redness cleared and sagging facial muscles, lifted. Even more important to me as a natural healer, I could see they felt relaxed, uplifted and vibrant when they got off the table.

I carry a great appreciation for the ancient lineage of knowledge and wisdom passed on through my teachers. From them, from my childhood fascination with the ways of nature and from my work over the last several years, I have created a signature, results driven, cosmetic acupuncture and facial guasha treatment. I love seeing the vibrant beauty emerge from each of my patients. I truly believe health is our true wealth and with natural support, well-being will shine through our skin.

Additionally, I approach treating internal disorders from a Japanese Acupuncture approach. With this gentle, yet effective approach, I specialize in fertility, easing digestive disorders, insomnia, anxiety, women’s health and pain. With herbalism, cupping, moxa and lifestyle adjustments I have helped many patients find relief.

When I am not sticking needles in people or playing with gemstone guasha tools, I can be found on the beach with my two daughters or hiking in the woods.
